Our Story
About the Volkskeuken
The Volkskeuken is a social project, where the goal is to really meet each other. This goal stems from my deep personal conviction that if we want to change things for the better (for the earth, our loved ones, our direct living environment, etc.) we have to learn to be there for each other and to care for each other. Meeting each other is a first step.
Each other deserves an explanation. By each other I mean that you come into contact with people you normally don't meet that quickly, let alone sit at the table with.
Everyone lives in a social bubble to some extent. A look into someone else's bubble is beautiful, sometimes confronting, but can create a bond through mutual understanding that was not there before.
And all that just at a table.
